Terms of Service

Last updated: October 6, 2026

These Terms contain the basic provisions that apply to each application provided by Sanary. Applications in specialized fields, including healthcare and the sale of creative works, may also be subject to app-specific terms (for example, the Sanary Log Medical Disclaimer). Where these Terms do not address a matter, the applicable app-specific terms will prevail.

Article 1. Description of the Services

“Sanary” (the “Services”) collectively refers to applications and related services designed to support and connect activities across multiple fields, including daily life, recording, organization, creation, and software development. Please see each application’s product page for its specific features and scope.

Article 2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are a minor, you may use the Services only with the consent of your parent or legal guardian.

Article 3. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • register false information;
  • access another user’s information without authorization;
  • reverse engineer or attack the Services or related systems;
  • use the Services as, or on behalf of, an organized criminal group or a comparable person or organization; or
  • engage in conduct that violates applicable law or public order and morals.

Article 4. Account Management

This Article applies to applications that provide account functionality.

You are responsible for managing your account credentials. Do not disclose your password to third parties or share your account.

Contact Sanary immediately if you suspect unauthorized use.

Sanary may suspend or delete an account without prior notice if it confirms a violation of these Terms.

Different sign-in methods, including email, Apple ID, and Google accounts, may be treated as separate accounts. Changing your sign-in method does not automatically transfer server-stored user data or a subscription.

Article 5. Artificial Intelligence

Certain features use artificial intelligence. AI output is provided for reference and is not guaranteed to be accurate or complete. See the AI Usage Policy for details.

Article 6. Third-Party Services

The Services may use third-party services for AI processing, payments, crash analytics, and other purposes. The privacy policies and terms of the relevant providers apply to those services.

Article 7. Changes, Suspension, and Discontinuation

Sanary may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Services without prior notice. Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, Sanary is not liable for loss arising from such action.

Article 8. Copyright and Other Rights

Copyright and other rights in the Services themselves, including their design, logos, and text, belong to Sanary or the applicable rights holder.

Rights in records, content, projects, source code, and other user data that a user enters, creates, registers, or manages through the Services remain with the user or the lawful rights holder. Use of the Services does not transfer those rights to Sanary.

Article 9. Account Deletion

Applications that provide account functionality allow users to withdraw or delete their accounts by following the in-app instructions. You may be able to register again using the same email address. See the Data Deletion Policy for the treatment of data after withdrawal.

Article 10. Fees and Refunds

Fees for paid plans and options are as stated for the applicable application and plan.

The following Sanary Point provisions apply to Sanary Point 2.0 and the Point features of supported apps.

  • Purchases through the App Store or Google Play are governed by the billing and refund policies of the applicable store. Refund requests must be submitted to that store.
  • Payments made on the web by credit card are generally non-refundable, except where loss is caused by Sanary’s willful misconduct or gross negligence.
  • If you cancel a paid plan or auto-renewing subscription, you may generally continue using the applicable features until the end of the current subscription or usage period. Access to paid features ends when that period expires. The store or payment service’s displayed renewal and expiration dates control.
  • Points in Sanary Point 2.0 are earned for free through everyday use of supported apps, optional Rewarded Ads and other eligible activities. Sanary Point 2.0 does not sell points.
  • Points are not money. Cash redemption, money transfers and person-to-person transfers are not supported.
  • Points can be used for eligible features and digital content in supported Sanary apps. Check the points required and the conditions shown in each app.
  • Point Wallet balances and History are managed primarily on the device and shared by supported Sanary apps on that device. Signing in to an account does not automatically sync or restore the wallet on another device.

Article 11. Changes to These Terms

Sanary may revise these Terms. Material changes will be announced in the application or by email. Continued use of the Services after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Article 12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The court with jurisdiction over Sanary’s place of business will have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over disputes relating to the Services.
