Data Deletion Policy
Last updated: September 20, 2026
This Policy states the basic data-deletion practices that apply to each application provided by Sanary. The specific data deleted depends on the application.
Deleting an Account
Applications that provide account functionality allow users to withdraw or delete their accounts through an in-app feature. Follow the instructions in the applicable application. After completing the process, you may no longer be able to sign in to that application.
Data held by Sanary that is covered by the deletion request will be physically deleted from databases and backups within 30 days after withdrawal.
You may register again using the same email address.
Data Covered by Deletion
App-specific user data stored on Sanary servers, such as the following, is covered by the deletion process. The actual categories depend on the application and whether the information has been stored.
- profile information, such as a nickname;
- records and other user data stored on a server;
- AI conversation history, if stored; and
- settings and customization information, if stored.
In applications that offer Sanary Points, a Sanary Point balance is shared across Sanary applications and is not an asset of only one application. It is therefore not deleted when you withdraw from a particular application.
Local First Data
Local data, projects, source code, and files stored on your device or in a location you control are not server data covered by Sanary’s account-deletion process.
If you turn on an optional iCloud sync that an application provides, the data in iCloud is under your own Apple Account and is not covered by Sanary’s account-deletion process. To manage or delete data in iCloud, use Apple’s iCloud storage management and see each application’s policy.
Withdrawing from Sanary Build or ending a subscription does not cause Sanary to delete projects, source code, or files that you manage. Review and delete any unneeded local data yourself.
Deletion Period
Within 30 days after withdrawal, Sanary physically deletes data it holds that is covered by the deletion request from its databases and backups. Deleted data cannot be restored.
Information Subject to Legal Retention
Information that must be retained for a period required by law, such as billing records, will be retained only as necessary through the applicable statutory period and then deleted.
Data Export
Sanary plans to provide a data-export feature for server-based record applications and similar services. When available, the export will use a secure format. Local Sanary Build projects and user-managed files are not covered by that export feature.
Changing an Email Address
Whether and how you can change the email address used to sign in depends on the application. Contact contact form (info@sanary.jp) for assistance.
